ASL Club / ASL Honor Society

Come one, come all if you're interested in using your hands to communicate. We will teach you some American Sign Language and play lots of silly (voice-off) games. Have you thought about taking ASL as a world language? Come to our club to see what it's like and meet the teachers who teach ASL 1-4 here at Douglas! We meet twice a month on the 2nd/4th Wednesdays from 2:50pm - 4:00pm. Typically the first monthly meeting is games-focused and the last monthly meeting we play a movie or show that features sign language in it. If you are an active member of ASL Club, you could even receive honors at graduation your senior year--a cord, medallion, or stole, depending on your GPA, level of ASL class you got to, and your involvement in the Deaf community.
