So, what are spirit points?

Spirit points are earned when you get involved on campus. Attend a dance? Earn some spirit points. Join a club? Earn some more spirit points. Go to a game & cheer on your fellow Spartans? Earn even more spirit points!

Cool stuff happens on (and off) campus ALL THE TIME, so make sure you have your ID card or personal QR code [on 5 Star Students app] ready so you can rack up the points-- because the more points you have, the closer you are to PRIZES for yourself and GLORY for your class.

Is there a competition?

Yes! Will the freshmen win it all? Or will the seniors go out with a bang? It's all up to you. Wear a tutu on spirit days. Donate blood when we have a drive on campus. Go listen to the choir sing their hearts out.

When the end of the year rolls around, we'll get to see which class is truly the MOST spirited, and which class deserves ultimate bragging rights-- and prizes. (Don't forget about the prizes.)

But like, how does it work?

Basically, we have these really cool scanners on campus. We also announce check-in codes and present QR codes. If you're caught doing something awesome & Spirit Point Worthy-- like watching our girls basketball team dominate the competition, or watching a movie with your friends on the Big Lawn after school-- a staff member will scan your ID card & assign those points to you & your class OR while you're watching our virtual assembly you can type a check-in code or scan the given QR code into the 5 Star Students mobile app.

Activities

• Clubs→  10 pts
• Sports→ 10 pts
• SCPA→  10 pts

Events

• Pep Assemblies→ 25 pts
• Mindful Mondays→ 5 pts
• Blue Fridays & Spirit Days→ 5 pts

Behaviors

• Volunteering for Pep Assembly Activities→ 5 pts
• Answering Spartan Blog Questions→ 5 pts
