K9 Studios -  After Hours

To provide a space and allotted time for students to receive tutoring, mentorship, and support with their Animation work. This was brought about because Term 1 revealed how many students needed extra time to complete their work but there wasn't a tutoring system in place to properly support them. I have student leaders and class peers who volunteer their time to manage equipment for the students, guide them through exercises that may be challenging for them, and even critique their progress with the same level of expectations and understanding of core material that I would. Our goal is push for a 100% pass rate from ALL animation classes and 80% of the students passing the classes with a B or better. It's purely meant to be an academic tutoring opportunity for students, not an extension of Animation Club.
