Young Musicians' Guild

Volunteering instrumental performance around the community. The purpose of this club is to encourage participation in the performing arts through organizing volunteer performances at educational venues, senior homes, and other community structures. The Young Musicians' Guild and its leaders firmly believe in student access to an instrumental performance experience, which allow them to overcome stage anxiety. In turn, students not only get volunteer hours for their service to the community, but also get to experience joy and encouragement from their audience. YMG has been operating for two years before it became a school club, and has received invitations from the IUSD Board of Education and the City of Irvine in its performances.
