COMPACT Careers Club

The purpose of this club is to provide members with opportunities to meet and reach out to the business community. Educate students about careers to enhance their decision-making ability and help them make an “informed choice.” Educate students about hiring procedures to help them obtain those jobs that meet their long-term career objective. Encourage students to have a career plan. Encourage in students those “intangible” characteristics that are necessary for success in most jobs, such as commitment, initiative, punctuality, and concern for performance. Encourage students to participate in community service.
