Ruby Bridges walks to school

Ruby Bridges Walk to School – Friday, November 14th Wear purple or Grizzly gear to show your support! Join us as we honor Ruby Bridges and her bravery by walking to school together. Where to meet: Meet at the Green Valley Cinemas parking lot by 7:50 AM. We’ll start walking to school at 8:00–8:05 AM. How to get there: Ask your parents to drop you off at the Green Valley Cinemas if you’d like to participate. Please don’t come to school first and then walk off campus. Students who ride the bus may not be able to join the walk but can still participate in the on-campus ceremony once we arrive. On-campus activities: We plan to arrive at PVHS around 8:15 AM for music and guest speakers in the quad. If you walk, you might be late to 1st period—but attendance will be verified through 5-Star check-in for all participants. We encourage everyone—whether you walk or join us in the quad—to participate and celebrate this important moment in history together. Let’s show our Grizzly pride and honor Ruby Bridges’ courage!
