History Club

The OPRF History Club is open to ALL students interested in exploring historical events, people, changes over time, and the relevance of these events to the present day then History Club is right for you. Whether you enjoy just listening and learning or jumping into historical discussions, History Club is the perfect place. Students will participate in discussions, hear from guest speakers, have options to go on field trips when possible, and learn from one another's ideas, experiences, and stories. There will be opportunities for students to plan future meetings and topics as well. In the past we have covered such topics as the history of many federal holidays, Black Panthers, Rome, world wars, 21st century black fashion designers, disability rights, elections and impeachments, and much more.
