Chess Team

The Chess Club is a welcoming and competitive community for students of all skill levels. Beginners to experienced players seeking high-level strategy are welcomed to join. Our mission is to promote critical thinking, patience, and sportsmanship through the timeless game of chess. We meet throughout the school year to practice, study tactics, and play both casual and tournament-style games. Members have the opportunity to compete in local through IHSA Competitions to represent our school in team events, and build friendships with fellow chess enthusiasts.
