Fusion Dance Auditions (2025-2026)

DANCE AUDITIONS SCHEDULE: Try-outs for the 2025-2026 dance season will take place December 10th-12th. Please attend and participate in the date associated with your grade level (next year): *Incoming 12th Grade, Class of 2026: Tuesday, December 10th (3:30pm-5:30pm) *Incoming 11th Grade, Class of 2027: Wednesday, December 11th (3:30pm-5:30pm) *Incoming 10th Grade, Class of 2028: Thursday, December 12th (3:30pm-5:30pm) *Incoming 9th Grade, Class of 2029: Come try-out any of the 3 days! (Dec. 10, 11, or 12) Dance Company is open to all students interested in studying dance as a performing art and offers two levels of commitment: Apprentice (Advanced), and Principal (Pre-Professional). For more information contact the dance program coordinator, Joseph Candelaria at jcandela@egusd.net TRY-OUT DAY REMINDERS: Auditions will take place in Franklin High School's Dance Studio (HD-16) from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Be prepared by dressing in any athletic clothing that is appropriate for exercise. Applicants will dance in socks or barefoot unless they have jazz dance shoes. Applicants are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a personal towel. No visitors or spectators are allowed inside the dance studio during the audition process. At try-outs, Applicants will learn a short dance routine and perform the routine in small groups. Applicants will be evaluated and scored in four dance categories: Execution, Technique, Performance, and Rhythm. Results: December 20th
