Math Olympiad

Math Olympiad club allows students to participate in large mathematical competitions including the main one - the US National Math Olympiad. Major events would be the AMC and AIME tests held in November and February respectively. The competition is progressive so each level becomes harder and harder and getting a specific score can get you selected for the next level. AMC - first level, AIME - second level, National US Olympiad - third level, International Math Olympiad - fourth and most prestigious level. The club can also choose to participate in other mathematical competitions such as the HMMT - a math competition held by MIT and Harvard, SMT - a math competition held by Stanford, and BMT - Berkeley Math Tournament. The club will prepare students for the competitions and provide opportunities to participate. The club will help get more students interested in math and can win major awards for the school and students.
